Creating Posts Using AI Content Generator
Introduction
As a social media user, you know how important it is to create engaging and relevant content that resonates with your audience. However, generating fresh and unique content consistently can be a challenging and time-consuming task. This is where artificial intelligence (AI) comes in. With AI-powered content generation tools, you can create high-quality content quickly and efficiently without sacrificing originality or creativity.
AI content generator in Su Social
AI content generators use advanced algorithms to analyze your brand’s tone, style, and preferences to produce text, images, videos, and even entire social media posts. These tools can help you streamline your content creation process, freeing up time and resources to focus on other aspects of your social media strategy.
Additionally, AI-generated content can help you stay ahead of the curve by providing data-driven insights into what types of content resonate with your audience. This allows you to adjust your content strategy in real-time to maximize engagement and achieve your social media goals.
There are two ways of generating AI content in your SU Social campaigns:
โ Before you can generate AI content, you must have an OPEN AI API Keyย entered under Settings > Connectivity > Open AI API.
What to Publish > Add Posts subtab
This is where you would usually create your posts manually, but we have added an option here to generate AI content as well. Click on the AI CONTENT action link, and it will open a pop-up window where you will write the prompt that Open AI will follow.
Enter your prompt in the first text box, and there’s also a sample prompt to guide you. For this example, we’ll use ‘Write two short paragraphs on how memes entertain today’s youth’ and then click on GENERATE TEXT. The second text box will then contain the AI-generated content based on the prompt you entered. Click on Use Text to use it on the Add Posts subtab.
It will redirect you back to the Add Posts subtab with the AI-generated text. You can manually add photos or videos or add a title (if required by the social platform). Once you’re all set, click on ADD TO POST LIST.
The item will then be displayed on the campaign’s Posts List tab.
What to Publish > AI Content subtab
๐ this subtab is available only for the Standard and Volume campaign types
This other subtab is helpful if you want to formulate AI-generated posts on a larger scale, as opposed to the previous option, wherein you’ll add each post list item one at a time.
- Enter your prompts for the AI. We have a sample prompt given there. There is also an action button to SHOW EXAMPLES which we’ll discuss later.
- Specify how many unique posts will be generated for every title you enter in the table below.
- There are two options for adding media to your AI content posts:
- Add images or videos to the post – You may add your own images or videos from your computer or a URL (for images only) with this option.
- Generate image using AI – If you do not have your own images, you can have it generate the image for you instead. There will be an additional prompt box to let you indicate what type of image it will come up with.
- Click Add to have them listed in the table below.
- Toggle the switch ON and it starts to generate posts. Once finished, this will automatically switch off.
Once it switches off, you should see that the FINALISED column will display Yes.
After that, you can proceed to the Generated Posts tab to see the results. You can click on the action buttons to either send the item to the Posts List, Drafts, or other campaigns, or to duplicate, edit, or delete the item.
๐ If you’re not sure what prompts to use, you may click on SHOW EXAMPLES and it will pop up with a txt file containing sample prompts to help you out.
๐At the lower left portion of the AI Content > Settings tab, there are action buttons to EXPORT and IMPORT. This is particularly useful if you will add a lot of prompts via CSV file import. To get a copy of the CSV template, click first on Export and edit that file with your prompts. Save and close the file before importing it to Su Social.
What to Publish > Scrape Posts subtab
You may also incorporate AI-generated texts from items using the Scrape Posts subtab. The AI prompt template will be used by all the scrape post sources that you input below.
From the scrape post source, ensure that you have ticked the box to ‘use Open AI to rephrase the Post Title/Post Description‘. Otherwise, SU Social will not rephrase the caption or title using Open AI.
The scraped post will be available in the Posts List tab (or the Drafts, depending on your settings) and is now ready for publishing.
Below are the original posts that you may use as references to prove that Open AI indeed rephrased the text.
What to Publish > RSS Posts subtab
You may use Open AI to rephrase the post title, the post description, or both. You may configure these options and specify your prompt before clicking on ADD FEED.
Meantime, if you already have an RSS feed added to the list below, you may still use Open AI by ticking the respective boxes.
๐ Note that the [TITLE] and [DESCRIPTION] must be a part of what’s extracted from the feed per your Template column settings; otherwise, the Title and Description will not be extracted, and there’ll be nothing for Open AI to rephrase.
What to Publish > Monitor Folders subtab
Instead of the regular post template text box, you can put a check on Make the post template an open ai prompt, input your desired prompt (supported by the tokens below) then click ADD FOLDER.
You may still use Open AI for folder paths already added to the list below by ticking the option to Make the post template an open ai prompt:
What to Publish > Share Post subtab
We have also extended the AI content functionality in the Share Post subtab. This feature though only applies to adding Facebook/LinkedIn page URLs and not to specific post URLs.
Select the option to use Open AI to generate a caption and add the AI prompt on the designated field. You may edit this later too on the index below.
Same as the Scrape Post option to use AI content, the extracted share post will be directly available in the Posts List tab (or the Drafts, depending on your settings) and is ready for publishing.
Below is the original post that you may use as a reference to prove that Open AI indeed rephrased the text.
Using AI content for existing Posts List items
Individually
If you already have items in the Posts List tab and you want to make AI-generated captions for them, we also have you covered. Click on the EDIT button, and you’ll see the AI CONTENT action button, and provided is a sample prompt.
Key in your prompt and click on GENERATE TEXT. If you’re okay with the generated caption, click on Use Text.
The caption will then be changed in the Edit window. Click OK to accept the changes.
After that, the caption on the Post List item will be updated.
In bulk
If there are multiple items that you’d like to use AI content with, you can click on SHOW ADVANCED VIEW > MORE ACTIONS > EDIT POSTS IN BULK.
This will open the bulk posts editor, and you may click on the AI CONTENT button per post list item. Don’t forget to click OK to save the changes.
