Actions you can do as a Facebook Page

Introduction

A lot of users are asking how can they do actions with Su Social as the Facebook pages and the demand even increased since FB pages have become more popular nowadays with the fact that almost all businesses now are transitioning to online platforms.

We have outlined the actions you can do as a Facebook page in this article but first, let it be known that you cannot add a Facebook page directly to Su Social. You should add the Facebook profile that is the administrator/editor of that page in Su Social’s Social Profiles tab, then you should be able to do actions as the desired FB page later.

How will I know if I’m an administrator/editor of that page?

If you created the page, you are automatically the administrator. However, if someone else created the page, you can request the page owners (if you know them) if you can be granted an editor role. This commonly happens for companies wherein they have staff who post for them, and they add those users as editors to the page.

Like and comment on other pages’ posts

This can be done via the Comment&Like tool. You can set up the Comment&Like Settings tab as you normally do, then take note that this only works for the Comment/Like Posts from Facebook Pages source.

1. Input the page URL where you would like to comment/like posts on
2. Add it to the list
3. It will be tallied in the table below where you can put a check on ‘Execute action as Page’ and then select the respective page from the drop-down.
4. You can also set the page for all the elements instead of choosing which page will execute the action individually for every page URL you added.

Reply to comments on FB page posts

Using the Reply Comments tool, you can also post the reply comment as your Facebook page. This is made possible by using only the Reply to comments of specific posts based on URL source.

1. Input the post URL where you would like to put a reply comment on
2. Add the reply comment text, and you can also specify filters whether to comment if it contains or if it does not contain certain words (optional). You can use spin syntax here too.
3. Add it to the reply list
4. It will be tallied in the table below where you can put a check on ‘Execute action as Page’ and then select the respective page from the drop-down.
5. You can also set the page for all the elements instead of choosing which page will execute the action individually for every post URL you added.

Invite your page post likers to like your page

Using the Invite tool, you can send a request to the likers or reactors of your posts for them to like your page too. 

1. Set how often would you like the invites to be sent (wait time between operations, how many invites per operations, days of execution)
2. Configure the Invite limit per hour or per day and other settings.
3. Select the page to use to send the invites
4. Input the FB post URLs where you would like to get the likers/reactors from.

Publish a post as your FB page

Publishing as your page can be done in two ways:

1. Publishing a post to your own page 

1. • On the Where to Publish tab, simply select the FB page where the post will be published.
   • Tick the checkbox beside the page
   • The post will be automatically published as the FB page if you select that respective page as the destination (you don’t need to configure anything on the ‘Publish As’ fields).
2. Publishing a post as your page to a group – to publish as a page to a group, you must have a group that was created by the FB page OR at least linked to the FB page (see image below). The Facebook profile should also be a member of that group in order for it to show on the Groups for that account.

The group should also have the drop-down switcher as shown below for it to be able to switch from posting as the profile to posting as the page.

1. • On the Where to Publish tab, click on the Groups for the respective account which is the administrator/editor of the FB page
   • Tick the checkbox beside the group
   • Select the page linked to that group from the ‘Publish As’ column.
