How to use the Birthday tool?
To access the tool, you can go to the Tools page, then click the name of the LinkedIn account where you want to run the tool, then click Birthday tool from the left menu where we list the different tools we have for the Linkedin account. This tool has two tabs: Settings and Results.
Settings tab:
The Settings tab contains four sections:
RUN TIMERS section
- The Wait between X and Y minutes before each new operation feature lets you set the number of minutes the tool should wait before starting the next operation.
- You can also set the number of messages sent out during each operation using the Send between X and Y messages per operation option.
- The Execute between HH:MM and HH:MM option allows you to set a specific time frame for the tool to send the messages.
- The tool can also be set to randomize these timings on a daily basis.
- The Days of the week when to operate option lets you choose the specific days of the week for the tool to send out the messages.
- The “Rotate Days” option allows the tool to cycle through the days you selected.
💡With the option “Rotate Days”, the days you selected for the birthday tool to operate can be randomly rearranged each week. For instance, if you selected Monday, Wednesday, and Friday, the tool will choose a new set of three days for the next week. Additionally, you have the option to exclude weekends from the rotation if you don’t want to send messages during those days.
BIRTHDAY SETTINGS section
You have the option to personalize your greeting by choosing from three different types: a birthday message, a work anniversary message, or a message to congratulate someone on their new position. If you’d like to express your good wishes on all three occasions, simply select the option to “Send birthday, anniversary, and new position messages.”
Messages Box section
The Birthday Settings section allows you to determine which message box will be displayed in the Send Birthday Messages section. If you’ve opted to send birthday, anniversary, and new position messages, all three message boxes will be accessible.
To compose your message, simply input it in the designated box. To make it stand out, you can utilize multi-level spintax for added variations and include emojis for added expressiveness.
Personalize your message even further by utilizing the supported tokens, such as [FULLNAME], [FIRSTNAME], [LASTNAME], [POSITION], and [COMPANY_NAME], which will be replaced with the relevant recipient information.
Selecting the Friends section
Select the individuals you wish to send greetings to by checking the corresponding checkbox next to their names.
- You have the option to send greetings to all of your friends,
- Or opt for the automatic selection of new friends.
For ease of management, the bottom of the table offers various action buttons to simplify the process.
