The Instagram Reel Viewer Tool

Introduction

With the rising popularity of Reels on Instagram, a lot of users have turned to these videos to promote their content, and some even watch these videos to kill time. We have added the IG Reels Viewer tool, wherein SU Social offers a seamless way to manage and optimize your reel-watching experience.

Accessing the Reel Viewer tool

Just go to the TOOLS view and click on your Instagram account there, then choose Reel Viewer from the list of tools we have available for Instagram accounts.

The tool consists of three tabs, Settings, Sources, and Results.

Settings tab

This tab is where you can set up the tool’s behavior.

Run Timers

  1. Wait Between X-Y minutes between each operation – This allows you to set a delay before starting the next reel viewer operation.
  2. View between X-Y reels on each operation – This allows you to set how many reels to view on each operation.
  3. Execute between HH:MM and HH:MM – set a specific timeframe for the tool to view reels.
  4. Add random sleep time – You can check it to add random sleep time for A-B minutes after X-Y operations.
  5. Days of the week when to operate – lets you choose the specific days of the week for the tool to view reels.
    ✅With the option “Rotate Days”, the days you selected for the Reel Viewer tool to operate can be randomly rearranged each week. For instance, if you select Monday, Wednesday, and Friday, the tool will choose a new set of three days for the next week. Additionally, you have the option to exclude weekends from the rotation if you don’t want to view reels during those days.

View Reels Limits

  1. Specify the maximum number (limit) of reels to be viewed per hour and day.
  2. You can opt to view only the X most recent reels.
  3. If you want only to view x and y max reels for each user per z number of days, use this option.
  4. You can set it to allow you to watch the same reels again. Keeping this unchecked will view a reel post only once.
  5. Specify for how long will each reel be viewed. You may specify it by percentage or view the entire reel length.

User Filters

The filters are straightforward. Users who fail any of the checked filters will be skipped, and the tool won’t view their reels.

After View Actions

  1. This will have the tool start executing immediately again (as opposed to waiting for the next operation) in case it returns with the ‘no more results found’ error.
  2. Use this option to like the reel after viewing and specify the like percentage. Setting it to 100 means all reels viewed will receive likes. 50 means one in every two reels will be liked.
  3. Similar to the option above, this will follow the user after viewing his reel (if the user has not been followed yet by your account).

Sources tab

This will tell SU Social which reels you’d like to view.

  1. View Reels by Hashtag Search – enter your target keywords (separated by a new line or by commas), then click on ADD INPUT. Make sure the NrPosts value is populated and not returning zero (0), otherwise, it means no posts are coming up for that keyword.
  2. View Reels of Own Followings – this will view reels from people you follow
  3. View Reels of Specific Users – add the username(s) of people whom you’d like to view reels from and click on ADD USERNAMES. There are additional options to pick the users in order (they are chosen randomly by default) and to remove the user from the lists after viewing his reels.
  4. View Specific Reels based on URL – you may also specify the reel URL that you’d like to view. Take note of the highlighted URL format and click on ADD TO VIEW LIST.

Results tab

This is where you’ll find all the retweets your account made. Aside from the date the reel was viewed, it will also include the keyword (source) used, who posted the reel, if SU Social liked the reel or followed the user, and a link to the reel.
