The Social Platforms tab

Introduction

Every social network that SU Social supports has unique global settings that can be found under the Social Platforms tab. Facebook, Instagram*, Twitter, Pinterest, Tumblr, YouTube, LinkedIn, and TikTok are among its eight sub-tabs.

Facebook

  • Wait a minimum of X hours before refreshing the friend list for a Facebook account (Friends Backup or Invite tools must be started) – In the Social Profiles > Friends tab, you can control how frequently SU Social will sync your Facebook friends list. The Friends Backup tool and the Invite tools won’t be impacted by the refresh if they aren’t already running.
  • Disable sync for new accounts –If you do not want the account to automatically sync after being added and verified in Social Profiles, select this option.
  • Navigate from the Wall when executing most actions – By checking this, the action will begin on the Facebook homepage before going to the target tool.
  • Allow sync to execute on a maximum of X Facebook accounts at the same time – You can choose how many Facebook accounts can be synced simultaneously using this.
  • Auto switch accounts to English – this will change the language of the Facebook account to English so that the tool actions can execute correctly.

Twitter

  • Enable Follow different users across all Twitter accounts configured in SU Social – Regardless of the source, you can use this option to let all of your Twitter accounts on SU Social follow various users.
  • Enable different usersacross Twitter accounts with the same tagname – If the option above is checked, you can use this option to follow/contact various users across Twitter accounts using the same tag name instead of all Twitter accounts.
  • Auto Switch accounts to English – this will change the language of the Twitter account to English so that the tool actions can execute correctly.

Pinterest

  • Enable Follow different users across all Pinterest accounts – If you want to follow various users across all of your Pinterest accounts, select this option. Even if you use the same source, another Pinterest account won’t follow the same user.
  • Allow double repin (if checked the same pin can be repined multiple times on the same Board) – When selected, this will enable multiple repins of the same pin on the same Board.
  • Auto Switch accounts to English – this will change the language of the Pinterest account to English so that the tool actions can execute correctly.

Tumblr

  • Enable Follow different users across all Tumblr accounts –  lets you follow different users on all Tumblr accounts running the Follow tool.

YouTube

  • Limit the number of simultaneous watch videos to X – this sets the maximum number of watch video actions that can be made by all YouTube accounts in SU Social at the same time.
  • Enable Comment on different videos across all YouTube accounts configured in SU Social – lets you leave comments on various videos across all active YouTube accounts

LinkedIn

  • Limit the number of friends to extract – You can use this option to restrict how many connections from your account you want to extract.
  • Limit filtering the contacts already processed by the Search and Connect tool when executing a new search. – whatever number is entered here (by default 1000), SU Social will only take a maximum of this number of contact links from the Results tab of the Search and Connect tool and check if the newly found contact is already in the list of links taken from the Results tab.
  • Enable Follow different users across all LinkedIn accounts – Regardless of the source, you can use this option to let different users follow different LinkedIn accounts on SU Social.
  • Enable Follow different users across all LinkedIn accounts with same tagname – Instead of applying to all LinkedIn accounts in SU Social, the follow different users setting will be applicable only to LinkedIn accounts with the same tag name.
  • Enable View Profiles different users across all LinkedIn accounts – Regardless of the source, you can use this option to let all of your LinkedIn accounts on SU Social view profiles of various users.
  • Enable View Profiles different users/posts across all LinkedIn accounts with same tagname – Instead of applying to all LinkedIn accounts in SU Social, the view different users setting will be applicable only to LinkedIn accounts with the same tag name.
  • Enable Connect different users across all LinkedIn accounts – By selecting this option, all of your LinkedIn accounts on SU Social will be able to connect to various users regardless of the source.
  • Enable Connect different users/posts across all LinkedIn accounts with same tagname –Instead of applying to all LinkedIn accounts in SU Social, the connect different users setting will be applicable only to LinkedIn accounts with the same tag name.
  • Auto Switch accounts to English – this will change the language of the LinkedIn account to English so that the tool actions can execute correctly.

TikTok

  • Enable Follow different users across all accounts – Regardless of the source, you can use this option to let all of your TikTok accounts on SU Social follow various users.
    • Apply extended results (this may incur in performance penalties (RAM and CPU)) –
  • Enable Like different users across all accounts – Regardless of the source, you can use this option to let all of your TikTok accounts on SU Social like various users.
  • Enable Comment different users across all accounts – This option is used to enable comments on various users across all of your TikTok accounts on SU Social, regardless of the source.
  • Enable Follow/Like/Comment different users only across accounts with same tagname – Use this option to follow, like, or comment on different users/posts across all TikTok accounts with the same tag name instead of all accounts.
    • Enable only for the following tagnames – use this option to follow, like, or comment on different users/posts only across specific tagnames. This also works if you have multiple tagnames. TikTok accounts that do not have the tagname in this list will be able to follow/like/comment on the same users/posts.
  • Automatically solve captcha account when needed. – this will let SU Social automatically solve the captcha on the TikTok account. The fix will only work if you have set up a valid 2Captcha server with credits under Settings > Connectivity.

Conclusion

SU Social provides unique global settings for each social network it supports, including Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, Pinterest, Tumblr, YouTube, LinkedIn, and TikTok. These settings allow for greater control over account syncing, language preferences, following, liking, commenting, and more.
