The Linkedin Invite Tool

Introduction

Beyond its networking capabilities, LinkedIn is also a valuable platform for promoting businesses through pages and groups. With the SU Social LinkedIn Invite tool, you have the ability to automate the invitation process for your connections to follow your pages and join your groups.

How to access LinkedIn Invite Tool?

To access the Invite tool, just head over to the TOOLS page, click on your LinkedIn profile, then select the Invite tool from the left-side menu. Once there, you’ll find four main sections: “Add Friends to Groups”,Β  “Invite Connections to Follow Pages.”, “Import Connections From Emails”, and “Invite Friends to Events”

Add Friends to Groups:

In this section this tab, you will find the following sections:

Run Timers section:

  1. The Wait between X and Y seconds before each new operation feature lets you set the number of seconds the tool should wait before sending out another invitation.
  2. You can also set the number of invites sent out during each operation using the Invite between X and Y people per operation option.
  3. The Execute between HH:MM and HH:MM option allows you to set the specific time frame for the tool to carry out the invitations.
  4. The tool can also be set to randomize these timings on a daily basis.
  5. The Days of the week when to operate option lets you choose the specific days of the week for the tool to send out invitations.
  6. The “Rotate Days” option allows the tool to cycle through the days you selected.

πŸ’‘With the option “Rotate Days”, the days you selected for the invite tool to operate can be randomly rearranged each week. For instance, if you selected Monday, Wednesday, and Friday, the tool will choose a new set of three days for the next week. Additionally, you have the option to exclude weekends from the rotation if you don’t want to send invites during those days.

Invite Friends to Groups Settings section:

  • The “Invite X-Y per day” feature allows you to determine the number of friends you would like to invite to your groups on a daily basis. A random number between X and Y will be selected to serve as the daily limit for that day. Additionally, you have the option to gradually increase the daily limit each day until it reaches your desired target.
  • The “Invite X-Y per hour” option gives you the flexibility to set the number of friends you want to invite to your groups within an hour. A random number between X and Y will be selected as the hourly limit. Additionally, you have the choice to gradually increase the hourly limit over time.
  • The “Auto Select New Groups” feature allows for effortless group selection. With this option checked, the groups added to the table will be selected automatically after a sync operation.
  • The “Auto Select New Friends” option streamlines the selection process for newly added connections. If this option is enabled, newly added friends will automatically be selected for invitation to the groups listed in the Groups table.

Groups Table:

The groups table displays the LinkedIn groups you belong to, along with the count of connections that have received invitations to join those groups.

πŸ’‘To view the groups you have joined on LinkedIn in this table, you need to sync your account first.

To do this, go to the Social Profiles tab, click on the Actions button next to your account, and then select the “Sync” option. This will update the table and display the groups you have joined.

Below the Groups table you will find six options:

  1. The Advanced Selection option allows you to quickly locate your desired groups using the filtering feature or the tags filtering feature. When you have a large number of groups that you are a part of, this is an especially useful tool. Simply click on the option to access the Advanced Selection window.

  1. Select All – This option allows you to select all the groups displayed in the Groups table with just one click.
  2. Select None – If you want to deselect all the groups, clicking on “Select None” will remove all group selections.
  3. Reset Group Invites – This function will reset the count of invited friends to 0 for all groups in the table.
  4. Export Selection – the Export Selected option enables you to save the selected groups as a CSV file.
  5. Import Groups – if you have a pre-existing list of LinkedIn group URLs that you wish to invite your connections to, this option is what you need. Simply import the file, which must have the same format as a exported file from the tool, and start inviting. You can also export one of your groups to see the correct format for the CSV file.

Friends Table:

The table displays all of your connections/friends, and only the ones you’ve selected will receive an invitation to join the selected groups listed in the Groups Table.

  1. Sync Friends List – SU Social provides you with an option to forcibly refresh your list of friends on the platform. By clicking on this option, the tool will sync and update your friends list, allowing you to see any new friends added. Additionally, you can also sync your profile from the Social Profiles tab through the “Sync” option under Actions.
  2. Select All – helps you choose all your connections from the list.
  3. Select None – clicking this option deselects all friends from the table.

Invite Connections to Follow Pages:

If you wish to have your connections automatically follow your company/business pages, the Invite Connections to follow Pages sub-tab is the way to go.

It comprises two sections, namely the Run Timers and the Settings section.

Run Timers section:

  • The “Wait between X and Y seconds before each new operation” option sets a random wait time before each invite operation,
  • The “Invite between X and Y people per operation” sets the number of connections to be invited per operation.
  • You can also adjust the execution time of the invite tool with the “Execute between HH:MM and HH:MM” option.
  • You can choose which days of the week the tool operates by selecting the appropriate days in the “Days of the week when to operate” section. If you opt for “Rotate Days”, SU Social will cycle through the same number of days initially selected.

Settings section:

  • The “Invite X – Y per day” option allows you to set a daily limit for the number of connections that will be invited to follow your company/business pages. The tool will randomly pick a number between X and Y as the daily limit for each day. Additionally, you can set the tool to gradually increase the daily limit each day until it reaches your desired target limit.
  • The “Invite X – Y per hour” option allows you to set a hourly limit for the number of connections that will be invited to follow your company/business pages. The tool will randomly pick a number between X and Y as the hourly limit for each day. Additionally, you can set the tool to gradually increase the daily limit each day until it reaches your desired target limit.
  • “Auto Select New Pages” enables you to have the software select the pages you want your connections to follow, eliminating the need for manual selection.
  • “Auto Select New Friends” automatically invites newly-added connections to follow the selected pages in the Pages table when this option is checked.

Pages Table:

In this table. The selected pages will be the ones that your connections/friends will be invited to follow. You can select multiple pages by checking the boxes next to each page name.

πŸ’‘Β If your new page is not shown in the table, you should sync your LinkedIn profile from the Social profiles tab.

There are three options under the pages table:

1. Select All – this allows you to select all pages at once.

2. Select None – This will make all pages unselected.

3. More Actions – a new window will pop up if this option is clicked. There are four options you can use:

  • Reset page invites – this will reset the number of invited friends to 0.
  • The “Select chosen pages/events in all other same tag accounts” option allows you to extend the selection of pages to other LinkedIn accounts that have the same tag name, making it easier to manage multiple accounts.
  • The “Select all pages/events in all same tag accounts” option allows you to select all pages and events across all linked accounts that share the same tag name.
  • The “Sync chosen pages/events in all other same tag accounts” option, you can ensure that the selected pages are updated and synced across all accounts with the same tag name.

Friends Table:

There are four options under the Friends table:

1. Force Friends Update – clicking on this option will force SU Social to sync your friends. If got new friends/connections, they will be added automatically to the table after the sync operation.

2. Select All – all friends in the table will be selected when clicked.

3. Select None – none of your friends will be selected when clicked.

4. Select All Friends in All Same Tag Accounts – you can click on this option when you have other LinkedIn accounts that have the same tag name and you want to select all friends on those accounts as well.

The results of the tool and the total number of friends that have been invited to pages will be displayed below the Friends table.

Import Connections From Emails:

Linkedin provided recently an option that allows its users to import a list of emails that can be used to send those contacts an invitation to invite them to connect with you on Linkedin.

This tool allows you to do that by adding your email list to the section below

You can add your list, email per line as indicated above, then click on ADD TO EMAIL LIST button

Once you do that, the emails will be added to the table where you can see all your email list

πŸ’‘ Below the table, you will be able to see the number of invites sent by the tool so far.

πŸ’‘ This tab also contains two more section above the Email List Section, the Run Timers, and the Settings sectionsΒ – Both are work on the same way as the ones we explained for the previous sections.

πŸ’‘Don’t forget to start the tool after you add your email list, by clicking on the switch button at the top of the tab to start the tool and to start inviting your contacts.

Invite Friends to Events:

If you are looking for a way to automatically invite your connections to events, then this is the tool to use.

This tab contains four sections like the tab where you invite connections to follow your pages

  • The Run Timers, Settings and Friends Tables section are all explained on the Invite Connections To Follow Pages section.
  • The remaining section is the section where you can see your list of Events.

This is the section where you select the Events where to invite your connections/friends.

  • You can use the Filter box to search and query to find events you are looking for, event tags are also searched

There are three options under the Events table:

1. Select All – this allows you to select all Events at once.

2. Select None – This will make all Events unselected.

3. More Actions – a new window will pop up if this option is clicked. There are four options you can use:

πŸ’‘ If you don’t see any Events listed on the table, then you only need to force a sync operation, go to the SOCIAL PROFILES tab, click on ACTIONS button next to your account, then click on SYNC

Once you Sync operation is finished, your list of events will be loaded on the table.
